I ordered a set of drill bits a while ago and they turned out great, but they came without any kind of drill bit box and it took a lot of time to find the right cue ball, so I decided to make my own case.
I spent some time thinking about the material I wanted to use for this project, and then when I threw the empty milk bottle into the trash, everything fell into place. Why not try using an empty bottle?
The project is quite simple and the drill organizer will take about two hours to create. Before you start, I would advise you to create a template from paper. I have attached my template in the second step of the instructions, in case it is useful to any of you.
As it turned out, working with plastic is very interesting, and after the project with the storage case, I made several more projects based on plastic.

Metal-plastic pipes
There are several types of attachments that I use quite often. Wood is good, but it is soft and the nests quickly became too large. Then I decided to make a compact version of the stand with my own hands for storing drills directly on the tabletop. After assembling the watering system, I had several meters of rigid hose left, and a piece of cast iron pipe from the water supply in the house. But I still recommend using a metal-plastic or polypropylene analogue for my consumables. There was simply no other option at hand.
I made the base from a metal pipe. I cut pieces 20 m high, sharpened one end and drove them into the same log. I made cylinders of different heights from the hose and inserted them into the cast iron pot. Such a stand still serves as faith and truth today.
But polypropylene makes things easier. It turns out something like a wind instrument, only here you can make 2-3 rows. It is easier to fasten such blanks with a glue gun. The rods are similar in nature to the polymer base and bond well. The ends here can be easily sanded, so after fastening everything can be quickly aligned. Apply the same glue to the edges, secure the stand to a flat surface - the organizer for drills with your own hands is ready, no drawings are needed.

You can also make a pencil case for drills with your own hands from old school cases. I used this plastic one for a long time for washers and screws. But now there are a lot of self-tapping screws and a welding machine that have replaced all such little things. Personally, I drilled several small holes and nailed the base through them to the wall using plastic wire clips. There were good gaps for inserting drills. Close the lid and order.
My child gave me a fabric pencil case with rubber springs for pens and pencils. From this you can make a convenient case for drills with your own hands. The case has cardboard inserts that can simply be replaced with plastic or metal ones. The seam is closed with staples from a stapler or sewn together (for example, the fishing line holds for a long time and firmly).
