Steel circle
A steel circle, according to clause 3.1 of GOST 535-2005, is classified as long products: any tangent to the perimeter of its cross section (a solid circle without recesses and voids) does not intersect the section plane itself. Depending on the area of application, rolled section rounds can be made from carbon, low-alloy and alloy steel; according to the production method, steel circles can be:
- calibrated (cold rolled);
- forged;
- hot rolled
Calibrated steel circle
cold rolled products are produced in accordance with the assortment in accordance with GOST 7417-75, and are used due to the high precision and quality of surface treatment for the manufacture of parts on high-tech automatic machines and cold stamping lines; the relatively high cost of a calibrated wheel is compensated by the possibility of use in low-waste and high-performance technological processes.
Forged steel round
produced in accordance with the assortment in accordance with GOST 1133-71, used for the manufacture of especially high-quality tools and parts for various purposes.
Hot rolled round steel
is most widely in demand in industrial production and construction, due to the combination of affordable prices, versatility and excellent strength characteristics. Marking, logistics, acceptance and storage of hot-rolled wheels are carried out in accordance with GOST 7566-94; maximum dimensional deviations, manufacturing accuracy, weight per linear meter and size range are regulated by GOST 2590-2006 “Rolled hot-rolled round steel bars”.

Circle 20 hot-rolled GOST 2590-88
Used in all industries, hot rolled, rolled from structural steels of ordinary quality. In some rolled products, the use of steels with improved properties is allowed; additional requirements are specified by the consumer in separate provisions of the order agreement. To improve operational physical characteristics, hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d20 can undergo additional heat treatment; the treatment mode and methods are selected by the manufacturer. The duration of heating of rolled products directly depends on the process temperature, the rate of temperature increase, the amount of charge and the special equipment available in the production. The heating rate can be determined by the technical characteristics of the heating furnace based on its maximum power. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d20 is made of carbon structural steels, which have a high thermal conductivity coefficient. Taking into account such characteristics, the initial temperature rises 20÷40° higher than the manufacturer’s technical regulations provide, and subsequently the temperature indicators are reduced to optimal values in accordance with the developed standards. This temperature step makes it possible to significantly speed up the heating process of rolled products, which leads to increased equipment productivity and reduced heat treatment costs, reducing the overall duration of all processes. Additionally, the duration can be reduced due to a slight increase in the holding temperature, but this increases the risk of oxidation of the metal surface and its decarburization. Heat treatment modes for long products are selected taking into account the characteristics of the steel based on the need to achieve a uniform pearlite structure.

Circle 30 hot rolled GOST 2590-88
Subject to tensile tests in accordance with the provisions of GOST 1497-84, the types and sizes of samples must be specified in the provisions of the manufacturer's regulatory and technical documentation, the documentation is developed and approved taking into account existing requirements. If necessary, the hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d30 can be tested on other samples, their dimensions must be proportional to those specified in the technical documentation. For flat test specimens, the ratio between width and thickness in the part being tested cannot exceed 8:1. The dimensions and geometric shape of the samples are determined by the technical characteristics of the measuring instruments and instruments used. The chosen method of fastening must be guaranteed to prevent the sample from slipping during testing at maximum loads; the grips of the testing machine must be in contact with the sample with the entire working surface. It is prohibited to crush and deform the captured sections of the sample; maximum deviations along the length of the selected samples are regulated by the provisions of the standard, taking into account their length and geometric shapes. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d30 is used to create non-critical parts and fasteners in various industrial sectors. Made from ordinary structural steel. The consumer may require the production of rolled products from improved low-alloy steels; all additions must necessarily go through the stage of preliminary approval between the parties. The chemical composition of steel is determined by the steelmaking enterprise from each smelting ladle; blooms are supplied to the rolling mill with accompanying documents; repeated chemical analysis is not required. The quality of finished products is checked visually during batch acceptance.

Circle 70 hot rolled GOST 2590-88
Structural steels are used for manufacturing; the buyer may require the use of low-alloy improved steels. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d70 is used in the manufacture of parts for machines and mechanisms in all branches of industrial production; it can be used to strengthen complex loaded engineering structures of large units. To improve the quality of steel, it is deoxidized using diffusion deoxidation technology. Chemical reactions can occur between ferrous oxide and deoxidizing agents, reactions can occur at the interface between metal and slag or in the slag itself. The speed at which iron oxide transforms into metal slag exceeds the speed of the reverse movement. Removal of oxygen from the metal occurs without the need to increase the concentration of deoxidizers. Carbon can be used as a metal deoxidizer when using diffusion deoxidation. At the very beginning of the process of diffusion deoxidation, the relative amount of oxygen in the metal should be determined by the amount of carbon, but these indicators exceed the equilibrium values. During chemical reactions in the slag or at the slag-metal interface, the amount of carbon and free oxygen is balanced. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d70 undergoes quality control at the enterprise. Methods and methods of quality control must meet the requirements of state standards. The manufacturer has the right to develop his own technical documentation indicating the specifics of sampling and conducting comprehensive tests. All results obtained are necessarily recorded in a document in the established form; if desired, the consumer can familiarize himself with the document drawn up.

Circle 24 hot rolled GOST 2590-88
The metal has high toughness and low hardness, and is used for the manufacture of anchor bolts, rivets, boiler connections and non-critical fittings for construction. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d24 can be rolled from steel grade St1ps - according to the degree of deoxidation, semi-quiet, deoxidation is carried out by adding silicon or aluminum, at some steel mills the metal can be deoxidized using the vacuum method. During the deoxidation process, free oxygen is removed from the metal, which has a negative effect on its physical properties. Based on the analysis, a document is issued and provided to the rental company. The quality of rolled products can be controlled during the processing of workpieces; if disagreements arise between the manufacturer and the consumer, a repeated check is carried out. For rolled products subject to random inspection, re-inspection is performed on twice the number of samples. For rolled products subject to continuous (piece-by-piece) inspection, re-inspection is carried out only on those samples that did not pass the initial quality check. The hot-rolled circle GOST 2590-88 d24 must have accompanying documents indicating the name of the consumer and manufacturer, batch number and weight, assortment and steel grade used during production. Retest data is considered valid for the entire production batch. The marking is applied directly to the products of the rolling mill, if these products are not subject to separate packaging. If the products are packaged in bundles, then rental information must be placed on special labels; the labels can be metal, plywood or cardboard. Marking can be done by branding, sticking labels, electrography or indelible inks. The standard may establish additional labeling methods for certain types of products.
